Shaded navy blue with a faint turquoise window check; 50 wool 30 silk 20 linen blend in a ligthweight but can be used in mild midseason days as well; single breasted 3 button fully lined jacket; Part of the new 'De Rossi' line, The Grant has a slim fit, high armhole sillouhette, but with the inverted back pleat means there is slightly more comfort and room for movement. Very fine shoulder pad means it drapes naturally, it is half canvassed to the bottom of the sternum, thus a floating canvas means more breathability, a better drape and natural movement. Lining is 100% viscose, 3 internal pockets, armpit cuscions so as to avoid any staining, working cuffs, natural coruzo nut buttons, the cuff can be unswen and let out or taken in with ease as it is whole cut (making sleeve adjustment easier). Cary trousers are a very pale shaded sage, mid-lightweight 55% cotton 45% linen; Peg trousers, high 14.5" front rise and 20" back rise, full generous cut on the buttocks and legs, 2 pleates, constructed with an inner waist curtain and a split back waistband. This allows one to perfectly take in or let out the waist up to 1.5''/4cm. Inseam is long and left unhemed, 9.5" bottoms. It is made in China by a company I personally visited and spent intense 3 days exploring and getting to know well. Quality and attention to detail are visible throughout their products; sustainability is certified through AMFORI/ BSCI certification. Arguably the first half of the 1930s is the cream of the crop for Gentleman's wear IMHO, mature, middle age, stylish men who are done being teenagers and moved on to wearing more comfortable and in many ways radical clothes.
